The Great Get Together Cover The Great Get Together Grant - One off community grants

Applications for this are now closed

Breckland Council offered one-off grants to enable communities to participate in The Great Get Together, a nationwide event to be held over 17 - 18 June 2017 to encourage people of all backgrounds to come together.

The event is being held to honour the late MP Jo Cox, who inspired many when she said that we have more in common than divides us.

16 applications were approved and received funding to support their proposed community events. These include afternoon teas, community BBQs, sharing picnics, coffee mornings, and entertainments.

The grant-funded events are shown on our interactive map, below. Click the star pins for more details about each event.
