Long Term Plan for Towns

Overview

As part of the 'Long Term Plan for Towns' the Government has agreed to release £20m funding, ring-fenced for Thetford, to support the development of activity over a 10-year period that enables growth and resilience. Locations earmarked for funding were selected nationally, based on an assessment of both need and opportunity. Breckland Council will be the accountable body for the fund but will be required to work closely with a newly established Town Board to agree the plan for the fund and oversee its delivery.

Thetford's Town Board is currently being formed, with an independent chairperson soon to be appointed. This page will be updated with further details.
