Thank you for your interest in applying for this role with Breckland Council. Please find below some guidance to help you with your application.
As part of this process, you will be asked to complete an online form with your personal details and upload two documents – a CV and a supporting statement. We aim to operate a system of anonymous shortlisting, whereby there are no personal details in your CV and supporting statement issued to the recruiting manager for shortlisting.
Therefore, we request that the CV and supporting statement you upload do not contain any personal information – these details will be captured elsewhere in the application process.
Please note
If you upload a CV and/or supporting statement containing personal information then that is what the recruiting manager will receive.
We strongly recommend that you do submit a supporting statement, evidencing how you meet the requirements of the role (see the Recruitment Pack linked on the job advert). With your CV alone, you may not provide enough information to demonstrate your suitability to be shortlisted for interview.
Should you choose to complete the optional Equal Opportunities monitoring questions, this information will not be seen by the recruiting manager at any point in the recruitment process unless this would disadvantage you (i.e. if they need to be aware of reasonable adjustments required to support your attendance at interview).
