Veterans' Gateway
The first point of contact for veterans seeking support. Veterans' Gateway put veterans and their families in touch with the organisations best placed to help with the information, advice and support they need - from healthcare and housing to employability, finances, personal relationships and more.

British Legion
The British Legion provides lifelong support to the Armed Forces community, including serving personnel, veterans, families, dependants, and carers. Assistance begins after seven days of service and extends to UK-based Commonwealth veterans and members of the Brigade of Gurkhas and their families.

SSAFA
SSAFA, the Armed Forces charity, has supported service personnel and their families since 1885. Last year, its volunteers and staff assisted over 82,000 people, from Second World War veterans to those who have served in recent conflicts. Recognising the person behind the uniform, SSAFA provides help whenever and however it is needed, for as long as necessary.

Op FORTITUDE
Op FORTITUDE is funded by The Armed Forces Covenant Fund to deliver a centralised referral pathway into veteran supported housing. The remit of the team will be to work with individual veterans at risk of or experiencing homelessness, supporting them either into suitable accommodation, or supporting them to maintain their current home

Haig Housing
Haig Housing provides housing assistance to ex-Service people and/or their dependants. Currently this object is achieved by letting general needs homes at affordable rents to the ex-Service community, and providing tailored housing solutions to suit the individual needs of severely wounded and disabled Veterans. Haig Housing also offers a wide range of housing advice to the Service community and is the Strategic Housing Partner of Help for Heroes.

Carers Matter Norfolk offers information and advice, carer breaks, signpost to services, and support for carers of all ages who are part of the armed forces community. It is here for you, whether you are a family member, still serving, a service leaver, a young carer, veteran, or a reservist.

The Armed Forces Covenant is a promise by the nation ensuring that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, are treated fairly. It is a pledge that together we acknowledge and understand that those who serve or who have served in the armed forces, and their families, should be treated with fairness and respect in the communities, economy and society they serve with their lives.
