UK Parliamentary General Election
A General Election will take place on Thursday 12 December 2019.
There are two Parliamentary constituencies in the Breckland area. Breckland Council runs the elections for the Mid Norfolk Parliamentary constituency.
Last date for registering to vote to take part in the General Election is before midnight on Tuesday 26 November 2019
Here's what you need to do:
- If you were registered to vote ahead of a previous election and your details haven't changed, you don't need to do anything but wait for your poll card
- If you're not sure whether you are registered to vote, please follow Can I vote? to fill in the online form to check
- If you've not registered to vote before or your details have changed you must Register to Vote before the registration deadline
- If you're away on election day and usually vote in person, consider a postal or proxy vote
The relevant Statements and Notices relating to the Parliamentary General Election will be added as the timetable progresses.
