Landlords with property in Breckland, South Norfolk and Broadland have been invited to attend a free online Landlord Forum networking and learning event on 24 March.

Hot topics expected to be discussed include understanding current and new legislation, grants available to landlords and tenants to assist with heating and insulation issues, and how to excel in Houses of Multiple Occupancy (HMO) management.  The event is being run in partnership with Breckland Council, South Norfolk Council and Broadland District Council.

The session will help local landlords be kept fully informed about current legislation and grants available, which will benefit local tenants and residents, who can then rent a property in the knowledge that the property is a safe, secure and healthy place to call home. Hosted online, this free professional networking event will have established expert panel of guest speakers including Teresa Kaczmarek from the National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA), Norfolk Warm Homes Partnership and Sarah Hyman from the Anglia Revenue Partnership

Cllr Alison Webb, Executive Member for Health and Housing at Breckland Council commented "This free online event, offering expert guidance to landlords on current grants, legislation, and the Minimum Energy Efficiency Standards Regulation, is also a great networking opportunity for you as a landlord with local agencies."

Broadland District Councillor, Fran Whymark said: "The council works closely with landlords to make sure that they are both aware of the current legislation and that they can comply. This forum offers a great opportunity to build relationships  and ensure that landlords receive the help that they need."
