Examination
The Necton Neighbourhood Plan was subject to an Independent Examination that started in February 2024. The Examiner found that, subject to all of the policies being modified, the plan met the 'basic conditions' and recommended that it proceed to a local referendum. The decision to hold the referendum was agreed on 7 June 2024.

Necton Parish Council applied to designate a neighbourhood area on 8 December 2020.
Date designated: 16 March 2021. Parishes included within the neighbourhood area: Necton.
