Dog and other animal noise is to be expected from time to time in a community, particularly during the summer months when windows are open, and residents are out walking and enjoying their gardens more frequently. If you are being affected by frequent dog barking or other animal noise, try speaking to the owner to advise them of the problem, if safe to do so. They may not be aware that the noise from their animal is affecting you. Customers who are tenants of housing associations can also report issues to their landlords. This may lead to the problem being resolved swiftly and informally.
