8 December 2024: Thetford 5k Santa Run

This is a 5K run in and around Thetford, starting from and finishing at the Guildhall in Thetford's historic Market Place. In line with the theme, we would encourage you to wear festive fancy dress as there will be a prize for the best! Free tea, coffee, squash and mince pies at the finish. Arrive for registration from 9am; the run starts at 10am. Plenty of free parking nearby. There will be medals for all finishers.

Ideal for families - no cut off time. Suitable for single running buggies. Children may take part, but must be within arm's reach of a responsible adult at all times, and all children are the responsibility of the parent/guardian. The route is mostly pavements with a few road crossings, and some short off road sections. No headphones, thank you. This event is being organised with Thetford Town Council and our partner, the Brecks Fen Edge & Rivers Landscape Partnership (BFER).

When: 8 December 2024, 10am. Registration opens at 9am.
