11, 12, 13, 14 & 15 June: 'Ministry of Biscuits' Performance by the Foundry Group

The Silver Social is an exciting programme of daytime arts events aimed at our older residents in rural Breckland.

Musical comedy 'The Ministry of Biscuits' is visiting a library near you in the very near future.  Tickets are £5 each and can be ordered in advance and paid for on the door.  Tea and biscuits included!

Set in London, 1948. The Ministry of Biscuits casts their sinister shadow over every tea time elevenses in the land. Established to control biscuits, it prohibits decadent sweetmeats, such as the Gypsy Cream. But when  junior designer, Cedric Hobson,  falls in love & creates a biscuit to shake confectionary to its very foundations, his world & the Ministry, are turned upside down.

"What an absolutely ripping wheeze...a top-hole musical comedy without a trace of Lloyd-Webber anywhere...a highly entertaining, clever show, packed with neat one liners"
