22nd September - 18 November: Swaffham Arts Baroque Festival

This autumn Swaffham Arts will be presenting an exciting Festival of Baroque Music. The first concert is at 7.30pm on Saturday 22nd September in Swaffham Assembly Rooms and will feature the acclaimed Norwich Baroque Ensemble (Strings and Harpsichord). The September programme includes contributions from France (Lully and Rameau), England (Handel and Purcell) and Italy, with a concerto for two violins by Vivaldi, a concerto in 7 parts by Locatelli plus the much loved Canon by Pachelbel.

This will be followed at 3pm on Sunday 21nd October by The Norwich Baroque Quartet (2 Violins, Cello and Harpsichord) and at 3pm on Sunday 18th November by Tale Dolce Musica  (Soprano, Flute, Oboe, Bassoon and Harpsichord).

Cost per concert is £9 for members and £12 for non-members, in advance from Ceres Bookshop, The Green Parrot in Swaffham or on the door.
