Report a dangerous structure

Breckland Council has a duty under the Building Act 1984 to investigate any structure, public or privately owned, that is judged to be in a dangerous condition.

Pleasereport a building that you believe to be in a dangerous state (anything from a loose tile to a dilapidated wall) to the Building Control Department using our online form.

One of our Surveyors will visit and assess the danger, they will then find out who the owner is, contact them, and make sure they take the necessary steps to eliminate the danger.
