Low Carbon Regeneration Programme
Is your business ready to start its net zero journey? If so, our new low carbon regeneration programme is just for you.
Breckland Council's low carbon regeneration project is a comprehensive initiative designed to empower businesses to reduce their carbon footprint, save money, and build a more sustainable future.
Together with our programme partnerOpergy (opens new window), we'll deliver targeted workshops on net zero related topics such as energy efficiency, renewable energy, and waste reduction. You'll also gain valuable insights through knowledge sharing, industry best practice and will have the opportunity to have a personalised carbon reduction plan developed for your business, guiding you towards a sustainable future.
This programme is free for businesses across the district to sign up to, you'll receive advice, guidance, and support on reducing your businesses carbon outputs.
This programme aims to:
- Provide detailed technical advice, guidance, and recommendations to businesses on the optimal solutions to reduce energy costs and increase the use of renewables - connecting to existing funding and advice schemes.
- Bring forward solutions for clusters of co-located businesses around potential shared solutions and/or shared benefits.
- Develop a pool of expertise, support and funding opportunities as a reference point and recruitment point for the project and businesses.
What your business can expect from the low carbon regeneration programme:
- Support and advice on net zero: We can support businesses on their net zero journey through knowledge sharing and industry best practice.
- Detailed workshops: You will be able to take part in Opergy's workshops of your choice, to learn more about how we can help achieve your businesses net zero ambitions.
