Covid Safe Scheme

Breckland Council has launched a Covid Safe Scheme, which recognises businesses in the district which have put in place measures and working practices to help protect their staff and customers from coronavirus.

It aims to recognise businesses for their hard work and provide reassurance to local residents and visitors that they can shop safely.

We will be inspecting Breckland businesses to assess their Covid Safe measures, including the provision of protective equipment such as screens and masks, hand sanitiser for staff and customers, and opportunities to maintain social distancing.

Businesses given accreditation will be listed on our website and given a sticker, for prominent display in their window.

The Scheme is open to all Breckland Businesses. If you run a local business, you can put yourself forward for assessment.
