Definitions
- Cooling tower - a device used to cool water by direct contact between that water and a stream of air.
- Evaporative condenser - a device that cools a fluid by passing it through a heat exchanger, which is itself cooled by contact with water passing through a stream of air.
Breckland Council has to be notified about both.
How to notify
You are able tonotify us using our online form. You will need to upload either a site plan or location sketch plan with your online notification.
Once a complete notification has been made, the council will process your notification and confirm in writing within 28 days that it has been successfully received and our register updated.
