The health and wellbeing of our residents is important and Breckland Council work in partnership with a variety of organisations to provide a range of facilities across the district.
Breckland has four leisure centres located in Dereham, Thetford, Swaffham and Attleborough which are operated by Parkwood Leisure and a fifth independent centre in Watton. All offer a range of fitness activities for all abilities.
Parkrun
Parkruns are free, weekly community events that are inclusive to all age groups and abilities, with no time limits and no one finishing last.

Cinemas

Museums & Galleries
Norfolk Museum Service (NMS) was established in 1974 when the County and District Councils in Norfolk agreed to delegate their museum powers to a Joint Committee to manage museums through a countywide Museums Service.
Events and activities take place throughout the year in museums across Breckland and Norfolk, often with special events for children and families during the school holidays.
