Made Plan (Final version)
As a result of a vote in support of using the Swaffham Neighbourhood Plan to make decision on planning applications in the District, Breckland Council decided 'make' (approve) the Plan on the 21 May 2019. This is the referendum version of the plan.
Referendum on the Neighbourhood Plan
The Neighbourhood Plan Referendum was held on Thursday 2 May 2019.
The information Statement outlines all the basic information about the Referendum. The 'specified documents' include a copy of the plan, which the Referendum question is based on, as well as other supporting documents.

Swaffham Neighbourhood Plan Referendum Results
Examination of the Neighbourhood Plan
The Independent Examination started on 4 February 2019 and the Independent Examiner requested further information in the form of a Clarification Note. This is found below with the Town Council's response:
The Examiner issued his final report on 8 March 2019 and Breckland Council made its decision on it on the 12 March 2019. Breckland Council accepted all the modification in the Examiners Report.

Submission Consultation (Reg.16)
Breckland Council have conducted the Submission consultation.

Pre-submission Consultation (Reg.14)
Swaffham Town Council have finished their Pre-submission Consultation.
The consultation started on Wednesday 18 July 2018 and closed on Saturday 1 September 2018.
Neighbourhood Plan Area Designation
Swaffham Parish Council applied to designate a neighbourhood area on 23 February 2016.
Parishes included within the neighbourhood area: Swaffham.
