If this vehicle has recently been involved in a collision then it is not considered as abandoned. Norfolk police will address the matter with the vehicle owner. Please contact the police via 101 or 999 in an emergency.

Is the vehicle parked within a short distance from the owner’s address?

If the vehicle owner is known, and the vehicle is parked close to their property, then the Council will not be treating this matter under the Abandoned Vehicles legislation. This matter should therefore be reported to the DVLA via GOV.UK
