Setting up bin reminders on your Alexa device

Once your Breckland Council skill is set up on a device, please ask 'When will my bins be collected?'

As long as you've set the correct address, Alexa will then proceed to tell you when your next bin is due to be collected, along with what type of bin is due.

Alexa will then ask you if you'd like to set a recurring reminder for your next collections. If you answer 'Yes' then these will automatically be set up for you. 

All reminders have been set to 7pm on the evening before your bins are due.

For example, if your bins are due to go on a Friday, your Alexa device will remind you on Thursday at 7pm.

Please bear in mind that bin collection days may vary when they fall on the week of a bank holiday.
