9 July 2025: Opening Concert of Dereham Blues Festival, featuring Mike Sanchez and his Band

The 10th Dereham Blues Festival opens with a colossus of the keyboards, the king of boogie-woogie, Mike Sanchez and his six piece for a full night for top class music. 

Mr Sanchez has an impeccable pedigree, spending 4 years as a full time member of Bill Wyman's Rhythm Kings, and opening for Clapton at the Albert Hall. 

These days he is resident in Spain, and a firm favourite on the Eruopean Festival circuit. He makes infrequent visits to the UK and comes to Dereham between dates at The 100 Club and Edinburgh Jazz and Blues Festival. 

With a full band of saxophone, trumpet, guitar, upright bass, this will be a concert to savour.
