  1. Free advice is only available for proposed alterations to a building where Listed Building Consent only is required. This does not include proposed extensions or other works that would require formal planning permission

  1. If you are seeking Pre-Application Advice for a Major Application of significance, you will need to send an email to our planning team (planning@breckland.gov.uk) with the following information:

    Description and size of proposed works (Please describe the proposal accurately and concisely. Provide details of all the uses/buildings proposed, eg. Proposed side extension to dwelling house 2m x 2m)
    
    Details of existing use and background to the site (Please provide details of the existing use of the land/building and, if known, any history of the site).
    
    Please also specify if you require a 1hr meeting and or an unaccompanied site visit
    
    Upon submission your request will be reviewed by a Planning Officer and an email will be sent to you to confirm the fee required.
