BOOST
BOOST - Supporting 16-30 year olds across Breckland to succeed!
BOOST is a government funded project that supports young people aged 16 - 30 across Breckland. If you are looking to build your confidence, gain new skills or find a job, we're here to help.
This project is part-funded by the UK government through the UK Shared Prosperity Fund.
What is BOOST?
BOOST is a team of friendly people working together with Norfolk County Council and Breckland District Council. Our goal is to support young people who may be struggling to access work, education or training.
How does it work?
BOOST started in King's Lynn in 2022 and expanded in 2024 to help more young people across the whole of West Norfolk and also Breckland. Thanks to additional funding and support from Breckland District Council, we're now able to continue until March 2026.
In 2024/2025 the project connected with over 200 young people, supporting a range of activities to build confidence and resilience, learn new skills, raise awareness of career opportunities and have support to apply for and secure employment. Our focus is on those who face the biggest barriers to learning and work, helping them recognise their talents and build a better future.
