Supporting 16-30 year olds across Breckland with opportunities for improved skills and jobs, through UK Shared Prosperity Funding (UKSPF)

BOOST provides individual support for 16-30 year olds across Breckland.

Tailored to the persons situation BOOST can offer a range of opportunities to support young people, providing employability support, basic skills, training, and mentoring; get in touch with us if you are:

  • aged 16-18 and leaving College or Sixth Form? Maybe you are not in education, employment, or training
  • aged 16-30 and unemployed, looking for work or support
  • aged 16-30 in employment but feel you would benefit from some training

With the BOOST project, we can support you to feel inspired, build your skills, or help you develop your career.

We are a person-led project, and we will endeavour to create the right support package to suit your needs. This could be helping to support your confidence to get into work, training, mentoring or formal qualifications. From marketing to fork-lift truck driving - we have it all.

You can email us at boostbreckland@norfolk.gov.uk to find out more and we will get in touch with you.

Employers

Are you an employer in Breckland? Would you like support to upskill your team members who are aged 16-30? This may be because they need new skills, or you want to develop your workforce.

Or perhaps you would like to find out more about how you can help young people locally, how you can inspire them into your industry, or into a particular career path.

You can email boostbreckland@norfolk.gov.uk to find out how we can support you.

Project background

The BOOST project brings together a unique partnership of local organisations to transform the prospects of some of the most marginalised young people across the district. With support from the UK Shared Prosperity Fund, we have been able to fund a 12-month project across the whole of Breckland, delivered in partnership with Norfolk County Council.

As part of the project, we have clear outcomes which measure our success, with the goal to raise aspirations, promote accessible support activities, as well as specialist training provision and employment opportunities.

If you would like to find out more, please email the team on boostbreckland@norfolk.gov.uk
