Meanwhile Enterprise Grant Scheme

1. Are you a business owner or community group looking for commercial space in Breckland?
2. Or, are you an entrepreneur looking to introduce your business to the local market day? 

If so, Breckland Council are offering grants of up to £10,000 to nurture your thriving business or organisation and invite you to submit an application for the Meanwhile Enterprise Grant Scheme. 

We strongly encourage all applicants to attend a free online business start-up & self-employment course, provided by Kick Off in Business before submitting an application - for more information,visit their website. Alternatively, we have provided guidance on completing the required documentation for the application form within our Business Toolkit.

Full applications must be submitted by 5pm on the last working day of each month to be reviewed the following month. 

Criteria for businesses/market traders

• Your chosen premises must occupy a retail space in Breckland 
• The grant will only be paid upon sight of a signed lease - There is not an expectation to have signed a lease agreement upon applying, but some indication of location will be expected
• Applications from new and existing businesses will be accepted
• Enterprise that offers a diverse or new business model to Breckland will be prioritised

• Organisations/groups that offer a diverse or new model to Breckland will be prioritised
